On this post we should like to show you a work with our modular scaffold MEKA 48 in restoration and maintenance works. This work it was realized on the Pillar’s Basilica in the town of Saragossa.
The modular scaffold MEKA 48 is designed to adapt to the most complex scaffold structures. Its versatility offers a wide range of uses, a significant load-bearing capacity and unparalleled quick assembly of all its components. The Modular Scaffolding MEKA 48 is manufactured according to European standards: EN 12810 – EN 12811, Certified by AENOR.
The Modular Scaffolding MEKA 48 is based on a system of vertical pipes with rosettes allowing up to 8 connections where the horizontal and the diagonal pipes connect, and enable different angles to be made every 50 cm. The modular scaffold is conceived to work with most complex structures, both indoors and outdoors. This is way the project manager chosen our scaffold system for the restoration works in this important basilica of IX A.C. century. The Pillar’s Basilica is ones of the most important in Spain and is considered ones of the 12 treasures of Spain.
In 2010 we was worked in a maintenance façade work where it was used our modular scaffold MEKA 48. This is manufactured with a hot dip galvanized with a minimum thickness of 75 microns according to the European Standard EN 1461.
In 2014 we were back to the Pillar’s Basilica. This time our MEKA 48 scaffold was used to the indoor works in the central nave and with the frescoes, how you can see on the photo gallery. The adaptability of the modular scaffold will become the perfect scaffold system for each kind of works, whose demands a very specific and reliable work tools.
